    Exchange Square starts on site

DSDHA's major new public park Exchange Square has started on site at Broadgate for our client British Land.

Suspended above the live railway tracks of Liverpool Street Station, the 1.5 acre park will offer a four-fold increase in the amount of greenery, dramatically enhancing biodiversity and improving local ecology.

A technically challenging construction on a restricted urban site, the 15 month-long build will deliver a new park for the City of London.

Exchange Square is the culmination of DSDHA’s Broadgate public realm framework, and offers an unfolding meandering landscape across several levels, with opportunities for rest and reflection, aiming to encourage diverse audiences to enjoy this public amenity. Bringing nature and wellbeing to the fore, in balance with technology, Exchange Square is an informal open-air space in which to meet, celebrate, work and relax surrounded by greenery.
