Shutian joined DSDHA in 2023 having practised as an architectural designer and an artist since graduating from the Architecture Association in 2021. She has previously worked on educational and residential projects in Tokyo and London.
She has an ongoing interest in reimagining public realms and has received grants from the Arts Council England to construct temporary spaces and events that bring architects, artists and local communities together. She is also passionate about using film as a medium to express spatial qualities and narratives. Her work has been exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy and Institute of Contemporary Arts in London.
