George joined DSDHA as an Architect in 2023. Prior to
joining the practice, he worked for four years as an architect & urban
designer on a series of projects in the UK and overseas including among others,
the Euston Over-Station Masterplan, projects in Kentish Town, Whitechapel and Manchester,
as well as the new Google Campus masterplan in San Jose, California.
Before starting his professional career, George completed
his Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Architecture at the National Technical
University of Athens, followed by an MA in Architectural History & Theory
at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL with a focus on representation of
cities. His thesis assessed the King’s Cross redevelopment as part of the
area’s urban evolution in time through a series of visual narrations across a rapidly
changing urban environment. Throughout
his design and research work, his interests lie in exploring the interface
between architecture, landscape and urban realm and how the experience of space
can be captured through different forms of representation and visual narration.
In parallel with his work at DSDHA, George is also a
researcher and collaborator at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, as
well as a freelance architectural photographer.
