Director
CV
Martin Pearson joined DSDHA in 2003, becoming a Director in 2021. He is a talented and experienced architect with an attention to detail and a commitment to design quality at both the micro and urban scale.
Martin has led client brief development, design evolution and has overseen the construction of a number of important projects within the studio. In all of which he has demonstrated a rigorous approach to working within sensitive historic settings in order to gain consents for existing and new buildings.
Martin has been key in developing the Stirling Prize nominated Christ’s College Secondary School in Guildford; the extension of Grade II Listed Davenies School and the refurbishment and extension of the Smithsons’ iconic Economist Plaza – a complex that is widely appreciated internationally as a triumph of post-war British Brutalist architecture.
Before joining DSDHA Martin studied architecture at the University of Dundee. He is currently a member of Islington’s and Southwark’s Design Review Panels and has previously been a member of the Yorkshire and Humber Regional Design Review Panel.
